Due to the COVID-19, many of the usual Year 6 leavers events couldn’t happen this year. However, we were determined to ensure they had an appropriate send-off so decided to celebrate the end of their time at primary school with an outdoor cinema evening. They enjoyed watching The Lion King whilst eating freshly popped popcorn and drinking hot chocolates with marshmallows. What fun!
Earlier in the afternoon, the Year 6 children brought their families along to the school garden, in small groups, to watch the pre-recorded leavers assembly on the outdoor cinema screen whilst enjoying a cream tea. Both events were extremely memorable. Good luck at your new schools Year 6! We will miss you.
