Swallows Class took part in an amazing music workshop. They used the inspiration of our topic, the Rainforest, to create a series of rhythms and a call and response sequence on recycled instruments: frying-pans, mango chutney barrels, spoons and washing-boards. All the children also worked in groups to compose their own pieces of tranquil rainforest sounds using rainsticks and other unusual percussion. Their performance was excellent and showed off a great day’s work. Thank you to everyone who came along.
