Inspired by our STEM day at Cokethorpe, Saturn Class headed into the garden and put their DT skills to the test, seeing whether they could make a boat to float. After a lot of hard work, creativity and a whole variety of techniques (not to mention 12 accidentally burst balloons), all the boats stayed afloat! Which meant it was time for weights… Some of the boats held an impressive 70g without letting on water.
