As part of our studying kings and queens, Swallows Class headed off to Hampton Court to see the palace of Henry VIII. The weather was glorious, so we ate our lunch outside in the grounds and explored Britain’s oldest maze. Everyone enjoyed the banqueting hall (as featured in our class novel), the kitchens with fireplaces big enough to cook the entire class, and the incredible clock. We also explored William III’s apartments and his impressive collection of armoury.
