Swallows Class went to Hill End to take part in an orienteering course. In the morning, the children split into group and played some games involving map reading, grid references and map symbols. After lunch, we got to explore the entire site and roam the whole sixty-five acres. Each group had to collect forty different references using their maps. Despite some very wet and windy conditions, every group successfully completed this challenge using fantastic teamwork. There were lots of smiles and all the children (and adults) agreed that it was a brilliant day out!
