Swallows Class thoroughly enjoyed an all-day music workshop. They learned how to play the spoons using a variety of techniques and rhythms. The body percussion and warm-up games were a particular highlight. In small groups, they improvised and composed before giving a performance to school and parents. There were plenty of sore fingers after so much spoon playing, but they all left the session resolute to dig out some cutlery and have a go at home!
