On Monday 2nd March, the Year 1 children were lucky enough to visit The Marlborough C of E School for the dance festival. The festival this year was focused on the story ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak. Taught by young leaders, the day began by enacting the story through movements and dance routines. First we used our bodies to build a forest. Then we made a sea using fluid movements. The best part was dancing like the Wild Things and roaring as loudly as possible!
We had an amazing time and thank all the staff and students at The Marlborough C of E School very much.
