It was with much excitement that we climbed aboard the coach to Bournemouth this morning. By the time we reached the M3 we had alleged sightings of the sea. It was actually Miss Horner who spotted the sea first. An actual round of applause erupted when we spied the ‘welcome to Bournemouth’ sign.
The children had an enjoyable day, building sandcastles and sand sculptures, splashing in the waves, collecting shells and playing beach games. The children enjoyed the ice cream treat and were a credit to our school. Immaculate standards of behaviour by all. Huge thanks to all staff and accompanying parents for helping to make our day a great success.
