It was with much excitement that the children entered the hall in year groups for a VR experience related to Black History. Our tutor, Paul organised the children to work in pairs for the experience, providing a screen of what was being viewed for the children not the wearing the headset. The children swapped frequently and gained much from this experience which was full of awe and wonder. During the session the children experienced a 1950s street scene and revised learning about Rosa Parks. After that we visited a protest with Martin Luther King. Finally, Mary Seacole was the focus.
