Swallows Class had a fantastic time representing Combe at the Marlborough Sports Hall Athletics event. It was a delight to be back and competing with other schools, after such a long break from sporting activities. The children were on top form and very enthusiastic, cheering each other on and making sure that a good time was had by all. They ran obstacle runs and relays, threw javelins, had a go at triple jump and even discovered what a paarlauf is! Everyone was very hot and tired, but extremely cheerful at the end of the day.
