In addition to the topic linked trips, we take every KS2 pupil to London on the train for a day of sightseeing and a tour of the houses of parliament.

We also offer the opportunity to watch the pantomime at Chipping Norton Theatre each Christmas and KS2 go to a theatre in London’s West End to watch an amazing musical.

 

Overnight trips

From Year 2, our pupils begin experiencing nights away from home with their friends.

Year 2- One-night sleepover at Hill End.

Year 3/4- Two nights away from home taking part in outdoor and adventurous activities. In the past we have been to PGL Liddington. This year, we are looking forward to going to Youlbury.

Year 5/6- Four nights away at an Oxfordshire Outdoors centre in either Yenworthy (North Devon), Woodlands (Brecon Beacons) or Kilvrough (Gower Peninsula).

Visitors into school

We frequently welcome visitors into school to enrich our learning. We plan regular visits, linked to curriculum learning, and also enjoy additional opportunities when they arrive (like our recent Lego Architeture workshops for KS2). Our visitors into school include:
