School Attendance 

This is a successful school and your child plays their part in making it so. We aim for an environment which enables and encourages all members of the community to reach out for excellence. For our children to gain the greatest benefit from their education it is vital that they attend regularly. Your child should be at school, on time, every day the school is open unless the reason for the absence is unavoidable. It is very important therefore that children attend regularly.

Absence Reporting Procedures

If your child is going to be absent due to illness or any other reason, please telephone the school before the start of the school day on 01993 891644 and leave a message on the absence reporting line giving full details regarding the illness or absence.  If your child’s illness lasts for more than one day, you must phone the school daily and inform us why your child is still absent.

If we have not heard from you by 9.30am the school will call you you to find out where your child is.
