Well done the the 28 runners from Combe School who took part in the Schools Challenge run which is part of the Oxford Half Marathon. The children run 12 miles ahead of the main event on Sunday 16th October and then completed their 13th mile on part of the Oxford Half course. The children kept themselves entertained during the pre-run waiting time with a game of ‘duck, duck, goose’ followed by a warm up led by Rosie and Ollie (Year 6). The run took place in beautiful autumn sunshine this year, which was much appreciated after the torrential rain of 2019!
