Ask any infant at Combe Primary School our Big Question- ‘where in the world would you like to go?’ and the resounding answer will be Legoland Windsor. The sun shone brightly for our extended learning day trip. We took great pleasure in experiencing Miniland and spotting all the worldwide landmarks (plus many more) that we have learnt about this term. Mrs Legge was blown away by the musical moving changing of the guards… amazing!
We also took part in an ‘around the world in 80 lego pieces’ workshop, where our guide was impressed with our knowledge of the continents of the world. Did you know that if every child in the world was given a lego set, it would have 80 pieces in it… that is a LOT of lego! We worked in teams to build each of the continents. Great focused work by all.
Of course the rides were a must. So much fun and very little queuing. Which was your favourite? Lego Ninjago ride, Thunder Blazer, pirate ship or Lego City Driving School. There was so much to fit in! As we departed our behaviour was commented upon by the staff who had been around the Park. Which was a real bonus, as ever.
