We were delighted this week to take tentative steps towards ‘normality’ and had a wonderful visit to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. The weather was kind to us as we utilised the treasures of the zoo to revise our learning on habitats, classification and criteria for living and non-living objects. We enjoyed exploring the zoo and learnt a great deal during our organised talk with James, who taught us about lions, giraffes, rhinos and camels. The children were impeccably behaved and asked relevant and interesting questions throughout the day. In addition to observing the animals, the children were treated to a terrific twenty minutes in the playground, making respectful use of the wealth of resources to support their physical engagement and fun!
A wonderful day out- many thanks Cotswold Wildlife Park!
