What a strange start to the term we all had…one day back in the classroom in January and then our Home Learning began!
Our Big Question this term is “ Should we look after our planet?”
We have started to explore what this means and have watched video clips about Plastic Pollution and listened to the stories “Clean Up”, “Dear Greenpeace”, and “Somebody Swallowed Stanley”. The children have responded very positively and have been so well supported by their parents. Our live lessons have been full of questions and discussions as the children respond to their assignments.
Our Cross curricular approach has linked the children’s learning in English, Science, Art and DT and we have worked hard to ensure that we have provided a wide range of activities across the curriculum.
Mrs McKechnie and Mrs Martin continue to skilfully support the learning in Red Kites class.
Home learning has been a challenge for us all but one that we have worked through together. Thank you for your continued hard work and support. We can’t wait to have your children back with us in the classroom where they belong!
